What the Bible Teaches Me

God has chosen you and made you his holy people. He loves you. So you should always clothe yourselves with mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other, and forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you. Even more than all this, clothe yourself in love. Love is what holds you all together in perfect unity...Collosians 3:12-14

This is a work in process begun Oct. 7, 2011 that will take some time to complete. The world's greatest teaching are in the Holy Bible but they are interspersed and scattered in many places and many ways.

In this day of accelerated activity and little patience,  I fear that many persons will never find the time or have the patience to read the entire Bible. This is no substitute but it seeks to fill a vacuum that might otherwsie persist.  Using the index on the left this website will try to organize and simplify the basic teachings found in the Bible...those that mean a lot to me personally. I hope they will also be meaningful to you....JW

" 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.'  This is the first and most important command. And the second command is like the first:
'Love your neighbor as you love yourself.'
All the law and the writings of the prophets depend on these two commands."  Matthew 22:37-40
