The Bible Teaches Me to to Live in Obedience to the Word of the Lord

And God spoke...I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

You shall have no other gods before me.

You shall not make for yourself an image...You shall not bow down to them or worship them...

You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God...

Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy...

Honor your father and your mother...

You shall not murder.

You shall not commit adultery.

You shall not steal.

You shall not give false testimony...

You shall not covet...

-------------------Deuteronomy 5: 6-21

.

" 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.'  This is the first and most important command. And the second command is like the first:
'Love your neighbor as you love yourself.'
All the law and the writings of the prophets depend on these two commands."  Matthew 22:37-40
